Just for a little fun, here are some numbers that are possible.
In Texas there are 29million people, 20% are school children and staff. The current rate of infection of those tested is 20 percent in Harris county (Houston area). So if 20% of state test positive, then over 1.1 million school children or staff could test positive. If the current death rate is 3.4% applied it would mean 39,440 deaths in Texas.
If those percentages were applied to the US Population, then almost 66 million would test possible, with 2.24 million deaths.
Yep…let’s just open those schools up for face to face instruction.
